30 J.Crew, H&M, and Nordstrom Dresses You Can Wear Now and This Fall

Let's talk about dresses, one of my favorite subjects. I find myself wearing (and buying) them a lot this time of year, as it's too hot for anything else (besides a swimsuit). But I also reach the point this time of year in which all I want to shop for is fall items—hence the reason I've been in the market for dresses that I can wear both now and as the temperatures (finally) start to turn.

There are a lot of dresses out there so I'm narrowing my search to three retailers that have lots of great summer-to-fall dresses: J.Crew, H&M, and Nordstrom. When shopping for dresses that can transition between seasons, I usually look for prints or colors that can work for either and also styles that can easily be layered according to the weather. It also doesn't hurt if they can easily be dressed up or down. Accordingly, I found 30 options from the aforementioned retailers that fully fit the bill. Scroll to see (and shop) for yourself.
