The International Criminal Police Organization, or Interpol, is looking into how to police the metaverse and related platforms as they attempt to define what “metaverse crimes” are, Arijit Sarkar reports for CoinTelegraph. This news comes four months after the police organization launched its own metaverse to track activity with the programming software. However, according to Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock, applying the definitions of crime in physical space to the metaverse is difficult. So, while the crimes committed may be the same, the laws at play may not be.
