Newfound Joy Never Lasts, and for Good Reason…

There was a time when I didn’t fully appreciate all that horror had to offer. I never dared to venture too far from my favorite monsters and villains.

Then my parents threw a fateful New Year’s Eve party. There was one guest my age and she had been told to bring a movie of her choice. It was a horror movie of a subgenre I had never looked at.

Before the clock struck midnight, I was hooked. I went into the New Year determined to give all those stories I had been neglecting a chance.

This volume of Terror in the Shadows offers a wonderful sample of the macabre. The evidence of a ghastly crime refuses to be ignored. A fun exploration under a rainbow leads to a discovery that’s both horrific and wonderful. A gravedigger learns that the most dangerous thing in the world is a task left undone. And some friends find something lurking deep within a botanical garden.

It’s fine to pursue horrors and all they have to offer, but always remember to take care.

Not everything we find will let us go once the screaming starts.

Terror in the Shadows Volume 21 is now available on Amazon, priced at 99c for a limited time only!
