Boogaloo Bois Member Sentenced in Conspiracy to Provide Weapons to Hamas

Benjamin Teeter has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis to conspiracy to provide material to support a terrorist organization. Teeter and his co-defendant, Michael Solomon, members of the anti-government “Boogaloo Bois,” were “convinced that they were ideologically aligned” with Hamas, and the two manufactured and delivered firearm suppressors to uncover FBI personnel they believed to be members in July 2020, according to the Star Tribune.

The two men were charged in September with conspiring to provide and attempting to provide material support to Hamas, designated a foreign terrorist organization by the Secretary of State. Prosecutors had requested the maximum sentence for Teeter under federal guidelines at 20 years. The court at his sentencing on Wednesday cited his cooperation with the FBI and assistance to multiple investigations after his arrest, reported the Pioneer Press. Solomon was sentenced in March to three years.
