The head of the Justice Department's National Security Division said that the incident was a "significant concern."
The U.S. Justice Department is investigating a cyber breach by “three hostile foreign actors” on the federal court records management system, with Matt Olsen, head of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, saying that the incident was a “significant concern,” Reuters reports. Olsen, speaking before the U.S. House of Representative Judiciary Committee, said that the Justice Department was working closely with the federal judiciary around the country to address the issue. While he did not comment on who was behind the attack, he noted that his division was focused generally on the risk of cyber attacks by foreign nations like China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
