Do you know anything about the person who placed pipe bombs near the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters in January 2021? The FBI, ATF Field Division, and D.C. Metropolitan Police have now raised the reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved to $500,000. In an announcement Wednesday, the agencies announced the reward increase along with updates on their efforts to investigate the attempted bombing. 

“We remain grateful to the American people, who have provided invaluable tips that have helped us advance the investigation,” said David Sundberg, assistant director in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office. 

“With the significantly increased reward, we urge those who may have previously hesitated to contact us—or who may not have realized they had important information—to review the information on our website and come forward with anything relevant.” You can review the FBI’s information on the suspect on their Seeking Information website.
