Former Porn Star Declared Incompetent To Face Rape Allegations In Court
Ron Jeremy was first charged in June of 2020 with the rape of four women which, after additional allegations came to light, led to an indictment of over 30 counts of sexual assault. Now, the former adult film star will reportedly be declared unfit to stand trial.

Adult film actor Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, known professionally as Ron Jeremy, will reportedly be declared unfit to stand trial for over 30 counts of rape and sexual assault due to suffering from “severe dementia,” James Queally reports for the Los Angeles Times.
Ron Jeremy was first charged in June of 2020 with the rape of four women which, after additional allegations came to light, led to an indictment of over 30 counts of sexual assault. Weeks before his trial that was set for January 17, 2023, The Times obtained an email from the L.A County Deputy District Attorney stating that mental health experts called upon by prosecutors and the defense have determined Hyatt suffers from severe dementia.
