Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced that his office is moving to dismiss roughly 60,000 marijuana convictions, the latest step to undo what some reform advocates consider the damage caused by narcotics enforcement carried out before Californians voted to legalize marijuana.

We assume that the best face cleanser must walk a fine line.  One face wash you try could be too gentle. Afterward, your skin feels barely cleaned. Another facial scrub may perform deep cleaning miracles, especially with clogged pores. Yet what if it was just too aggressive for you? Skin type clearly guides the best-informed face choice. Oily needs far different cleansing than sensitive skin. Some of us seek out face cleansers that are pH balanced. They help skin get clean, keep up its defenses and prevent irritation.  The good news: more and more cleansers cater to every skin type. IS makes a face cleanser that is gentle enough for sensitive skin yet strong enough to remove eye makeup.  And SkinCeuticals makes a foaming cleanser that deep cleans pores while being non-drying. It’s another one that removes makeup like a champ. Tata Harper cleansers purify skin–they even detox.  And Mario Badescu makes a gel cleanser that removes makeup, dirt and oil without leaving your skin dry.
