Eight teenage girls between 13 and 16 years old are allegedly responsible for the murder of a 59-year-old homeless man in Toronto, Jennifer Pagliaro and Victoria Gibson report for The Star.
Toronto police have said the girls, who met online and live in areas across the city, may have been trying to steal alcohol from the man and that the attack resembles a “swarming.” All of the girls have been charged with second-degree murder.
