16 Members of New York Narcotics Crew Charged
16 members of the Washington Heights-based narcotic crew, 174th Street Crew, were charged with both narcotics and firearms offenses.
Today, 16 members of the Washington Heights-based narcotics trafficking group, 174th Street Crew, were charged with federal crimes by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams, the DOJ announced. According to Williams, these individuals conspired to distribute narcotics in New York and possessed firearms to use while doing so. The individuals were charged with both narcotics and firearms offenses.
“As alleged in the Indictment, these defendants injected substantial quantities of narcotics into the community, putting dangerous drugs on the streets and putting lives in danger. Thanks to the extraordinary work of our partners at NYPD, HSI, and the USSS, the defendants now face federal charges for their crimes,” said Williams.
