Connecticut Gambling House Operator Kept Control While Incarcerated
A Connecticut man was arrested on Monday for allegedly running an underground gambling house called “the Club Hou$e."
A man in Plymouth, Connecticut was arrested on Monday for running an underground gambling house called “The Club Hou$e,” police say, Rob Polansky reports for Eyewitness News 3. Andrew Stern is being charged with illegal gambling, possession of a gambling device and gambling premises as a nuisance.
Police revealed that while in custody for unrelated charges, Stern allegedly maintained control while incarcerated. His brother was arrested in the case back in August. Stern has been released on a $10,000 bond and will appear in court in February 15.
