Snapchat Video ‘Crucial’ To Murdaugh Family Murder Trial

Paul Murdaugh sent a video on social media just minutes before he and his mother were killed, which prosecutors intend to use as evidence.

As the Murdaugh family murder trial begins, prosecutors expect a Snapchat video sent by Paul Murdaugh, who was killed with his mother in June 2021, to loom large in the case, Alta Spells reports for CNN. The video, the contents of which were not described, was sent to Paul’s friends just minutes before the killings occurred. The social media platform shared the footage in compliance with a search warrant.  Former lawyer Alex Murdaugh has pleaded not guilty to the killing of his wife and son.
