As part of “Operation Ghost Busted,” 76 defendants have been named in a federal indictment targeting the ‘Ghost Face Gangsters’ for their alleged roles in what prosecutors have described as a drug trafficking conspiracy, multiple agencies announced during a press conference on Wednesday.
The operation was a multi-agency investigation from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces. The Southern District of Georgia describes the indictment, which can be read here, as potentially the largest ever in the district. As part of the investigation, over three dozen defendants not named in the federal case have been indicted on state charges.
