Dark. Lonely. Isolated.
Those were some of the first words that came to mind when we thought about the character who would eventually become Gray Brooks.
Even his name, Gray, is suggestive of something… indistinct.
Nondescriptive.
It’s neither black nor white. It’s a combination of both and can’t truly be one or the other.
Though largely of his own doing, Gray feels like he’s always on the outside looking in.
Many of us can relate to this—to have felt that sense of loneliness from time to time.
But, just like Gray, we think we all have the inner strength that allows us to face the darkness and some of the most terrifying situations. Like Gray, we can all fight the monsters, both those around and within us.
So, we invite you on this journey as we traverse a world where not everything is as it seems. A world that is filled with the most nightmarish creatures imaginable.
Buckle up because Gray’s journey, like ours, is one that’s as much internal as it is external.
And we hope it’s as much fun to read as it was to create.
