A French-girl favorite.

J.Lo Wore the Jeans-and-Tee Combo That Jane Birkin Perfected

Although it's completely true that there's nothing we love more than a full-blown Jennifer Lopez look (we're talking about her iconic Versace jungle dress and, more recently, her bridal minidress by Giambattista Valli), it would be wrong for us to discount the Hustlers star's more laid-back outfits. After all, whether it be a sundress or a sweatsuit, J.Lo really can make anything look good. Her latest one is no exception.

While out and about in L.A., Lopez was spotted wearing the easygoing denim look that French girls have been donning for decades. Specifically, she combined a basic white T-shirt with high-rise, wide-leg jeans à la Jane Birkin back in the 1970s. Keeping with the theme, she added a pair of sky-high platform heels, oversize sunglasses, and large gold hoops. Apart from the absence of a woven basket bag (Lopez chose to instead accessorize with Coach's logo-covered Beat shoulder bag), she looked the epitome of a French movie star, a look we are constantly trying to replicate.

Below, see how J.Lo put her own spin on the iconic French-girl uniform.

On Jennifer Lopez: Max Mara 64mm Gradient Oversize Geometric Sunglasses ($249); Coach Beat Shoulder Bag ($375)

This price-to-quality ratio is going to be very difficult to beat.

These are about as close to perfect as it gets.

You can always count on Levi's to get denim right.
