Former Vice President Mike Pence’s lawyer confirms that documents with classified markings were found at Pence’s Indiana home, Marisa Sarnoff reports for Law and Crime. The disclosure was made in a letter to the National Archives, the Associated Press reports. Confirmation of the documents’ discovery comes shortly after additional documents with classified markings were found in President Joe Biden‘s home in Wilmington, Delaware.
In September, sensitive documents were discovered at the Mar-a-Lago home of President Donald Trump. Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed prosecutor Robert K. Hur as independent counsel to investigate the discovery of the documents in Pence’s home and additional material found in the Penn Biden Center in Washington.
