Jay Z, Yo Gotti Drop Mississippi Prison Lawsuit as Conditions Improve

Lawsuits filed by rappers Jay Z and Yo Gotti against prison officials in Mississippi have now been dropped after ongoing improvements, Tomás Mier reports for Rolling Stone. The lawsuits were meant to address the “inhumane” conditions of the prisons. As part of the upgrades that led to the dropped lawsuits, the prisons added air conditioning, instituted bathroom renovations and updated electrical systems.
