A 50-year-old man from Butte, Montana was sentenced to an additional 10 years in prison on Wednesday for pretending to have COVID-19 and fabricating records of his supposed illness to get out of court, Mike Smith reports for the Montana Standard. The man, Sean Michael Kelledy, had already been sentenced to 23 years in prison for two separate cases where he targeted elderly people in financial scams. The judge denied requests from his defense to make the sentence concurrent, and Kelledy will now face prison until he turns 84 years old.
