The partner of United States Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick, who died following the January 6 attacks in D.C., filed suit against former President Donald J. Trump and two rioters last Thursday, Chris Cameron reports for The New York Times. The suit, filed in Federal District Court just days before the second anniversary of the attack, seeks $10 million each from the three men. The rioters, George Tanios and Julian Elie Khater both pleaded guilty to charges of assault and misdemeanors for their roles in the incident.
